China gets another limited edition M3...Yawn!

In September last year BMW rolled out a series of special edition model for each of their important markets.

 

Japan got the Competition Fire Orange Edition, the United States got the Frozen Grey Edition, Australia got the Pure Edition, and in China they got the Tiger Edition. All these editions, as you might have guessed, were variations of the M3 in exclusive colour schemes.

 

While the Frozen Grey shade was an instant hit with buyers all over the world and in Singapore requesting for it to be on their brand new ride, the sheer pace at which the Chinese Tiger edition got snapped up pushed BMW to exercise the situation's monetary potential by offering another exclusive product, the Matte Edition.

 

And like the one before, the only modifications over the usual M3 was the colour.

 

Now they've gone and done a third exclusive edition run in China! The Carbon Edition! Unlike the last two though, this edition seems to be the most compelling of the lot.

 

You've got bits of carbon fiber on the hood vents, bumpers, roof, rear wing, and around the interior which has been decked out in white and black.

 

On the outside you've got a strip of black running from the top of the headlights down the shoulder and decals reading "Carbon Edition M" at the bottom of each door. Not sure about those touches but BMW

  • Is 'tiny living' really irrelevant in Singapore?

    I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post. But as we know, it isn't an option to begin with – no thanks, of course, to our lack of land space.  Someone also pointed out that the idea of tiny houses is "romanticised" – which, I don't deny (but hey, that's why it's a dream).
