These are the very first images of the next generation Hyundai i30. Set to make its official European debut at the at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, the all new i30 hatchback features fresh new looks and power plants that hopes to rival the iconic Volkswagen Golf and Renault Megane in Europe. The exterior styling follows the Fluidic Sculpture design language of the larger Elantra and I45. It features a large hexagonal front grille, wrap-around headlamps, a bulging belt line and pronounced front wheel arches.

 

The interior design is also modelled after Hyundai's latest creations such as the Veloster ,featuring a pair of deep-set gauges and a prominent center console. Engineered at Hyundai

nope disagree that it looks like ford focus... Hyundai's gettin better with their design sense, perhaps already surpass the Japs.

Couldn't agree more! Honda has always been keeping a close eye on Hyundai and if I am not wrong, Hyundai now sells more cars than Honda.

 

VW is also looking very closely at Hyundai. So not only Jap but also Germans.

 

But the people I love most are those that swear by Japanese cars, especially the Thai build Japanese cars.

 

I can see them eating their words and one day buying a Korean car!

  • Is 'tiny living' really irrelevant in Singapore?

    I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post.
