The interior design is also modelled after Hyundai's latest creations such as the Veloster ,featuring a pair of deep-set gauges and a prominent center console. Engineered at Hyundai’s European headquarters in Germany, the all-new Hyundai i30 hatchback will accommodate an array of diesel and gasoline engines. Initially, there will be two petrol and two diesel engines available but Hyundai is planning to introduce a hot hatch version with a 1.6L GDI turbo engine at a later date. This engine will generate over 200 bhp, according to rumours regarding the more potent version of the Veloster.
The all-new i30 hatchback is scheduled to go on sale in Europe during the first half of 2012. An Asian debut date is unknown at the moment.
