LTA actually helping drivers with its collaboration with Google

The recent announcement about the collaboration between our dear LTA and Google Maps seems to actually benefit us, the drivers and commuters. Not sure of what we’re talking about? Click here for the story coverage.

Even now, I'm lost (literally) without Google Maps on my iPhone. Although not ALWAYS accurate, it does replace flipping through the street directory manually. I think this new system will bring commuting in, and around Singapore to a whole new level of ease and efficiency.

It even tells us where the traffic hot spots around the island are. If you want to check for traffic tomorrow morning, all you have to do is select the date and Google will produce the results, archiving from past traffic patterns!

It's probably one of the more useful things the government body has participated in in recent times don’t you think?

google, google singapore, lta and 4 more...
