With a growing imported population, it is rather hard to find not-so-crowded places in Singapore. These quiet public car parks, which are mostly situated in parks, can be quite a good place to spend a peaceful weekend reading a book or have a nice chat with your loved one. As an avid jogger, I like to explore new places to exercise and here are some car parks which I find quite serene:
Pasir Ris Road Carpark ‘F’
If you are hungry, you can always get a bite from Silvery Moon, a café which is about 3 minutes walk from Carpark ‘E’.
East Coast Park Carpark ‘C1’
Venus Drive Carpark
This is the car park leading to the HSBC Treetop Walk
Mount Faber Road Carpark ‘A'
You can challenge yourself walking up the slope to Jewel Box if you are getting bored in the car.
Bay East Drive Carpark
You can get a good view of Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer as well as the Marina Barrage.
Old Upper Thomson Road (Next to Upper Peirce Reservoir)
You may get some monkey companions over here . But monkeys in Singapore are generally not as aggressive as those say in Bali.
The best thing about the above car parks is that they are free, with the exception of Bay East Drive.
