Dictators; some love them and some really loathe them. Dictators are all about sacrificing for the greater good of the people when their country’s media is paying attention. Some of them have their own personality, for example North Korea. The country loves to celebrate their leader with extravagant parades.
Many of these dictators enjoyed luxury goods such as expensive cars, jewellery and etc. Photos of luxury cars and other items belonging to Saddam Hussein’s eldest son, Uday, have surfaced on the internet. These finds were discovered by a group of mixed US and Iraqi soldiers and most of these cars are damaged beyond repair.
They include a pink Testarossa, a couple of Porsche 911s, a Ferrari F40, a BMW Z1 and a Lamborghini LM002. The damaged black sports car looks like a Ferrari F430 but I could be wrong about it as it is too damaged to make a correct guess.
A little history about Uday Hussein. He was the eldest son of Saddam Hussein from his first wife. He was seen as an apparent heir to Saddam Hussein but after an assassination attempt in 1996 left him with a limp, his younger brother, Qusay, was given more responsibility and authority by his father. Both Uday and Qusay were killed by US armed forces in July 2003.
On top of pictures of Uday’s luxury cars, several photos of gold plated guns had also surfaced. It is widely known that the family loves to collect gold plated weaponry.
