At the end of June, cumulative production in Japan summed up to 145.21 million vehicles with overseas production bringing in 55.12 million. By comparison, General Motors had already built over 235 million vehicles during its 75th anniversary back in 1983.

I also have the most profound respect and gratitude for the efforts of all persons who were involved in developing, manufacturing, and marketing Toyota and Lexus vehicles over the years".
