Nissan has released the official pictures of the face-lifted 370Z sports car, which will go on sale across Europe after making its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. As evident from the images, the makeover is rather minimal that features a redesigned bumper at the front with a couple of vertical LED DRLs.

Along with the facelift, the coupe will be available with two new colors, namely Midnight Blue and Magma Red. It will also get a set of new 18 or 19-inch alloy rims with red brake calipers.

The interior remains literally unchanged, apart from an upgraded Bose sound system which gets new speakers and subwoofer.

Nissan has decided to keep the chassis and engine of the face-lifted model untouched. This means that the car is still powered by the 324 bhp 3.7-litre V6 unit that brings the car from 0 to 100km/h in 5.5 seconds.

With a base price of around 30,000 Euro (S$47,629), the Nissan 370Z is considered to be relatively cheap. It certainly is, especially from a Singaporeanís perspective.

I have been a car fanatic since 1989, when my father was changing our family car then to a Toyota Corolla 1.6 GL fitted with a Twin Cam 16 valve engine that was carburetor-fed, a big deal back in those days. The automobile technology and industry fascinates me and I hope to broadcast these interesting developments to everyone out there through this blog.
