2013 ‘World Car of The Year’ finalists announced

The ‘World Car of the Year’ is an automobile award selected by a jury of 48 international automotive journalists from 22 countries. There are two categories, namely the ‘World Car of the Year’ and ‘World Performance Car’. The Volkswagen Up! and Porsche 911 were the winners in the respective categories in 2012.

The 2013 titles are now up for grab with the finalists announced. And they are:

The top three finalists for each category will named at the Geneva Motor Show and the winners announced at the New York Auto Show on 28 March. The Porsche Boxster and Toyota 86 each has the opportunity to clinch both titles.
