Volkswagen offers three new R-Line packages

Volkswagen is extending the appeal of the new seventh-generation Golf with three new R-Line packages designed by Volkswagen R GmbH.

The 'Exterior' package emphasises the striking appearance of the Golf and complements it with a rear spoiler finished in body colour, fog lights, R-Line logo on the special glossy black radiator grille, special bumpers, flared sills and sporty black painted diffuser.

The package is available with the Highline trim for the price of €995 (S$1,605) and Comfortline for the price of €1,180 (S$1,904).

The 'Interior' pack includes inlays in aluminum look, Black Lead Grey finish for the dashboard and door panels, stainless steel front door sills as well as pedal caps and black headlining. Moreover, you get sports seats in 'race' cloth design, R-Line logo in the front seats and on the home screen as well as a multi-function sports leather steering wheel and leather gear lever knob.

The package is available for the Highline equipment lines for the price of €640 (S$1,032) and Comfortline at a price of €945 (S$1,525). An alternate 'Vienna' leather is also offered for the R-Line interior package and costs an additional €1,755 (S$2,832) for Highline and €2,115 (S$3,413) for the Comfortline.

The 'Sport' pack does not add any performance but adds a sports suspension, progressive steering as well as tinted side and rear windows. It is also the cheapest among the three - costing €430 (S$693) for both the Comfortline and Highline trim.

Additionally you get new 17 and 18-inch 'Salvador' alloy wheels from Volkswagen R GmbH, compatible with all R-Line equipment lines for the Sport pack.
