Watch the new MINI Cooper S race against time in a carpark

By Faiming_low on 07 Jun 2014 in New model

Attached Image As part of MINI U.S.A's Final Test Drive campaign for the new F56 MINI, it chose 10 owners and allowed them to come up with any test drive imaginable, to see whether the new car could meet their expectations. While some of them were fun to watch, there were a couple which were slightly curious to say the least.

Attached Image Anyway, our favourite test drive, titled Vertigo, was the coolest one to us. The challenge was for Ryan George, one of the owners, to go all the way to the top and back down a large multi storey car park before two minutes, which is the grace period before carpark charges apply. I must say the MINI seems to be at home for stuff like this. Watch the video below to see Ryan in action.

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?

Cool video. But reversing down the ramp is too drama... looks scripted.

Wish for more of such drivers around. Nowadays MSCP first 3 floors are red lots. I gotta go high up to park. When coming down, always encounter some slow tortoise.

Singapore cannot do this, because most carpark used EPS,except you fit 2 IU to your car,1 for the rear.!
