Let's face it: there are few things less "gangsta" than a minivan (which goes a long way towards explaining why crossovers have been gradually taking their place as the family-hauler of choice around the world, but we digress). The point here is not lost on Toyota, which has embraced the "cool" image of the minivan with the Swagger Wagon campaign.

 

We first saw the suburban-goes-urban campaign pop up with the introduction of the new Sienna back in 2010. And now that the Sienna's been updated for 2015, the campaign is back again, featuring none other than Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr. himself... better known to most as Busta Rhymes. The decidedly white-bread video spot that follows may make you cringe, but you've got to admit that it's well done.

WTF did I just watch??? White people acting black? I'm sorry but it just shows Toyota is trying to hard to be cool when it ain't. The only Toyota that doesn't suck now is the GT86. f**k this shit. MPVs suck!

I've officially lost respect for Busta. I don't think 50 cent will endorse this crap.

Well... City Harvest paid Wyclef Jean USD1.6M to product "China Wine" for Sun Ho.

 

I'm sure Busta would have expected much less for the Toyota Sienna since it does not look as monstrous.

It's really cute. However I couldn't watch it for more than 90 seconds without stopping. Cute turned to annoying faster than the video ended.

The VW MicroBus always had swag but when no company could replicate the cool factor of that automobile, the American public shifted to SUVs to make up for it. Busta Rhymes only makes the Sienna less cool with this commercial...and that's almost impossible to do.
