Turkmenistan blocks importation of black vehicles

By Faiming_low on 30 Jan 2015 in Uncategorized, Other blogs

Attached Image According to the BBC, Turkmenistan officials have been reported to be stopping the importation of black vehicles with no proper reason given.

These Turkmenistan officials, whose country is home to one of the Turkic states in Central Asia, have advised importers to bring in white-coloured vehicles instead as it is a luckier colour.

This might have been influenced by the president because he has recently started to use a convoy of white limousines to move around with around 160 top ranking officials following suit.

If you think this is bad, this is just one of the latest restrictions imposed by the government. Other bans include the importation of coupes, supercars and vehicles with custom number plates or tinted windows.

Even the buildings are not spared. It is reported that the government has been spending billions of dollars to remodel the capital into a 'white city' by covering all the major buildings with marble.

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?
