Looks extremely lame. Parodies of this sort of movie basically don't work because they're almost self-parodies to begin with.

Parodies should use movies that take themselves way too seriously as source material. Of course, it should be pompous, inappropriate seriousness, not an actually serious and sensitive theme.

So:

Schindler's List: do NOT parody.

The English Patient: ripe for parody.

Fast and Furious: already a self-parody, anything you do is going to be lame as hell.
