blogentry-133713-0-13577900-1427361842_thumb.jpgAfter a very profitable 2014 largely thanks to the success of the Macan crossover, Porsche managed to increase sales by nearly 17 percent last year as compared to 2013. It delivered close to 190,000 cars and turnover reportedly increased by 20 percent to almost S$25.8 billion. Operating profit went up by a significant 5 percent to S$4.06 billion.

In celebration of the great result, around 14,600 employees received a S$13,000 bonus, pro rated based on when the workers joined the company during 2014. There is a little catch though as $1000 of that bonus will be given as a special contribution to the Porsche VarioRente which represents the company's pension scheme or to a private pension fund.
