Why is there no sign of the other trending hypercar, the Ferrari LaFerrari, we hear you ask. Ferrari, as usual, opted out for unknown reasons.

As a refresher, both of these cars run comparatively small displacement and high revving V8s paired with dual-clutch transmissions. Both also use carbon ceramic brakes and have active aero help. And they are both plug-in hybrids who have around 900bhp. So will who will be faster around this track?

"Unknown reasons"? The reasons are well-known. Ferrari are p*ssies who won't put a random, factory-made, customer car up against a close competitor. They want to be able to rig everything to their advantage (just like in F1 racing), and they're not above using ringers.

I mistrust all "official" times released either by Ferrari or by major automotive journalists. Even Chris Harris has mended fences with them since they completely shut him out after he had the b*lls to report something adverse about the prancing pony.

are these faster than the agera R?

If including laferrari these 3 supercars are the only ones with KERS or fitted with electric motors and batteries. It's not design to save fuel like a hybrid car but they have an EV mode. The KERS system help the car get out of a corner faster and accelerate at godspeed. Having the most power alone doesn't win a race on the track. The one who also has the best tech will win.

And dan there's the weight(Laferrari curb weight is less dan 1500kg). It's amazing with the big engine, gearbox, electric motors and batteries on board they are able to minimize the weight and do the 50/50 weight distribution. The power to weight is staggering. No other cars comes close to these 3 in terms of tech.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
