Chevrolet introduces Active Phone Cooling system

blogentry-133713-0-85780500-1435981998_thumb.jpgWith smartphones becoming the main source of in car connectivity, Chevrolet will be equipping several of its models with the Active Phone Cooling system, to prevent smartphones from overheating when resting on the wireless charging pod.

 

blogentry-133713-0-04263200-1435982008_thumb.jpgAn overheating phone which can affect battery longevity and its performance so Chevy came up with a simple solution by installing an air vent which is connected to the vehicle’s air conditioning which then points directly to the wireless charging bin. Cold air from the vent will then keep the phone's temperature cool.

    I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post.
