Watch a F1 car hunt down a Civic and a 650S in a lap

By Faiming_low on 14 Jul 2015 in Motorsports, Videos

Attached Image Even though there have been videos of 'F1 car vs street car' shot before, you have to admit, this sort of thing never really gets old.

Watch Mclaren's MP4-29 which was their car for last season, reel in both the Mclaren 650S and the Honda Civic Sport at Silverstone. While the 641bhp Mclaren needs not much of an introduction, the Civic Sport might need some. Meant only for the European market, the UK-made five-door Civic hatch is powered by a 1.8-litre i-VTEC engine which outputs 140bhp only. Yes this is no hot hatch. Speaking of hot hatch, why didn't they use the newly-launched Civic Type R?

Anyway, check out how amazingly-fast the the F1 car is against the road cars. And yes, we believe the drivers in them definitely gave their best.

Also, for those who want to enjoy the 360 degree VR experience, make sure you use Google Chrome to view the video!

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?
