Petter Solberg's WRX rally car for sale

By Faiming_low on 14 Feb 2016 in Motorsports

Attached Image Ever wanted to own a rally car? Here's a chance to own Petter Solberg's Subaru WRX rally car. This particular example was also reported to be driven by Colin McRae once too. To be more exact, McRae took it only for a spin at the 2007 Goodwood Festival of Speed, one of his last public appearance before his death. This car has also competed in various WRC events throughout 2007, finishing second on Rally Portugal, third on the Acropolis Rally and fourth on Wales Rally GB.

Attached Image Since 2007, the car has been given an overhaul, with almost everything stripped, clean and rebuilt to showroom condition. Things that could be swapped with new parts were swapped and included items like seats, harnesses and fire extinguishers.

Attached Image The engine, transmission and suspension has also been blessed with a rebuilt. Lastly, the car has been converted from a left-hand drive to a right-hand driver.

Attached Image Tempted? We are for sure, but at £159,500(S$322,000), it is not exactly affordable.

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?
