Bentley Bentaygas demand outstrips supply

By Faiming_low on 05 Mar 2016 in Other News

Attached Image Even though Bentley has already increased the capacity of the Bentayga once, demand for the luxury SUV is outstripping supply according to Reuters. During the interview with Bentley's Chief Executive Officer, Wolfgang Duerheimer, he confirmed that they are looking into ways to ramp up production of their first ever luxury SUV and they have already increased the production capacity once by bumping up the capacity from 3,600 to 5,500 units.

According to the Duerheimer, they have received pre-orders from 10,000 customers since the launch and the waiting list is stretching to almost a year as of now. However, it is a challenge to increase production much further as the company's suppliers can only meet the original schedule for 3,600 cars.

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?

This thing (at least in pics) looks hideous. If you showed it to someone without prior knowledge and said it was one of those made in China SUVs, they will likely agree that it is hideous.
