World's most expensive tyres can buy you a Condominum

By Faiming_low on 14 Jun 2016 in Other News

Attached Image A set of Michelin Super Sport tyres for a Bugatti Veyron will set you back around S$40,000. 40 grand? Yup, that is the price to pay for when you want the tyres to be able to withstand a thousand horsepower and a maximum speed of more than 400km/h. But that is nothing compared to the world's most expensive set of tyres.

Attached Image Made by Z Tyre, this set has been sold for a crazy S$810,000. And that is enough to put them in the Guinness Book of World Records for the title of the 'World's Most Expensive Set of Car Tyres'.

Attached Image So why does it cost so much? That's because the tyres have been dressed up with 24-karat gold and embedded with diamonds. Hmmm... not sure that would give additional grip over any conventional tyres....

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?
