blogentry-133713-0-92012400-1472004164_thumb.jpgTesla has revealed its new range-topping Model S. Called the Model S P100D, it is the quickest-accelerating current production car you can buy. How fast? 0-96km/h in 2.5 seconds when Ludicrous mode is activated. That's pretty much the 1479bhp Bugatti Chiron's sprint timing if you didn't realise.

That awesome timing is achievable all thanks to a new upgraded 100kWh battery pack which also enables the driving range to increase from the older P90D's 430km to 507km if estimated using US's EPA cycle. Interestingly, it is also Tesla's first model to go beyond the 300-mile mark (480km) and the longest-range production electric vehicle on the market.

Current owners of the P90D Ludicrous versions can upgrade to the 100kWh pack for an extra S$27,000 which includes the cost of having their old battery packs recycled.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
