Toyota MR-S successor confirmed
Gazoo Racing chief Tetsuya Tada has confirmed that Toyota is working on a spiritual successor of the MR-S roadster.
In an interview with EVO, Tada-San has revealed that it is part of the company’s plan to have a three-model strong range of sports cars, and the light weight sports car will be positioned next to the 86 and the upcoming Supra. He also added that the company wants to have all three in production "as soon as possible".
Tada-San also hinted that the car might come with some form of hybrid technology and Toyota is ''working very hard" to make the hybrid mid-engined roadster a reality.
