Hyundai i30 N impresses in video review

By Faiming_low on 30 Sep 2017 in Videos

Attached Image The Koreans have never been known to be makers of great hot hatches. This might change with the introduction of the new Hyundai i30 N...

Reviewed here by Steve Sutcliffe from EVO, the new i30 N is Hyundai's first foray into the extremely competitive hot hatch market. Undercutting rivals like the Golf GTi in terms of price, the car follows the typical hot hatch rule book using a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that is paired to a six-speed manual gearbox. Front-wheel driven and equipped with a limited-slip differential, the 271bhp Performance Package-equipped hot hatch will do the century sprint in 6.1 seconds.

Said to be Albert Biermann's pride and joy, the former head of BMW's M division reckons his car is good enough to make hot hatch enthusiast sit up and notice. Watch the video below and see why he think so...

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?
