Tesla pick up truck is coming after Model Y is launched
Elon Musk, the head of Tesla, has confirmed that he will be launching an all-electric pickup truck after the Model Y.
For those who are curious what the Model Y is, it is basically a crossover that will be a smaller alternative to the Model X SUV.
At the global premiere of the new Tesla Semi and Tesla Roadster last month, the electric vehicle company released a sketch of how the pick up truck will look like and interestingly, it is large enough to fit a full-size pickup in its cargo area. Sources online suggested that it is unlikely to be that large and will just be slightly larger than the Ford Ranger.
Musk said on Twitter that he has been thinking about the pickup for almost five years and is 'dying to build it.'
