Marvel fans can consider Daihatsu's latest offering

By Faiming_low on 12 May 2018

Attached Image Marvel fans can consider Daihatsu's latest new car, the Thor pictured here with "G aero stylish pack". However die-hard fans of the superhero might be disappointed as the car isn't exactly handsome nor muscular-looking...

Attached Image Based on the Toyota Roomy/Tank and Subaru Justy, the Thor is no Kei car but looks very similar to one. Slightly larger than what the kei cars have to adhere to, the Thor is equipped with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol and is matched to a CVT transmission.

Attached Image Producing 68bhp and 92Nm of torque, the car is able to achieve a pretty efficient fuel consumption figure of 24.6km/L. A turbocharged version of the 1.0-litre engine is also available. It is rated at 96bhp and has 140Nm of torque and will return 21.8km/L.

Attached Image In its latest update, Daihatsu has fitted the Thor with a new aero package. It includes a new grille treatment, fog-lamp trim, rear bumper trim, side skirts, and a mix of leather and suede-like upholstery on the seats.

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?
