Ferrari press blooper, a Pagani beating a Ferrari lap record and a drawbridge

On the 23rd of April 2010 Ferrari 599xx apparently broke the record for the fast lap ever made by a ‘production derived sports car’ at the Nurburgring. The Ferrari completed the 20.832-kilometer Nordschleife circuit at the Nürburgring in 6minutes 58.16 seconds and claims this is the first time that a "production derived sports car" has broken the 7 minute barrier.

Of course, Pagani went the ‘Ring sometime after that and did a 6 minute 47seconds flat making that car, a Zonda R to be the current record holder for cars that are based on something street legal, but isn’t.

But the funny thing about this whole record run is that Ferrari’s actual press release pic above included the extremely nice graffiti of a part of the male anatomy in the background. This picture isn’t found on the official website anymore (I checked) and I wonder what happened to the PR guy who released the photograph.

The Pagani spokesperson must have chose wisely as there were no signs whatsoever of a penis anywhere in the photo.

Anyway, the artist who drew that piece of ‘road art’ could be the same guy who did this to a drawbridge in Russia.
