If you're not satisfied with the Nissan GT-R as it comes out of the factory, Austrian tuning firm Königseder has readied a new package with styling and performance modifications for the Japanese sports car.

Under the hood, Königseder bumps output on the GT-R's twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 from 485HP to 580-horsepower through a reprogrammed ECU, a K+N sports air filter and a new titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic. The tuners over at Königseder claim that their 580HP GT-R can sprint from standstill to 200km/h in just 9.8 seconds.

The GT-R also gets a revised suspension with an adjustable coilover kit from KW and new 21-inch HRE alloy wheels shod in Yokohama Advan Sport rubber size 245/35 up front and 285/30 at the rear.

Exterior body revisions are limited to a new and more dramatic front lip spoiler and matching side skirts.

I have been a car fanatic since 1989, when my father was changing our family car then to a Toyota Corolla 1.6 GL fitted with a Twin Cam 16 valve engine that was carburetor-fed, a big deal back in those days. The automobile technology and industry fascinates me and I hope to broadcast these interesting developments to everyone out there through this blog.
