Mansory Linea Vincero d'Oro: Carbon and Gold

Not satisfied with a full carbon Bugatti Veyron Linea Vincero which they created sometime last year Mansory have decided that with carbon, there must be gold to spruce things up. These are the same people that decided that the Porsche Panamera needed a little colour in its life. A little colour here and there is good thing....IF Mansory actually knew when and how to stop in the first place.

The previous Linea Vincero

Anyway, they've not created a one off show piece to showcase more of the Linea Vincero range of accessories for the Veyron, but with gold. With the gold comes the addition of the word “d'Oro”, which means Gold in Italian. Carbon and gold on the outside. Carbon, black leather and gold lizard skin leather (help!) for the inside.

Just to recap, carbon fiber on all exterior panels, gold rims, gold V (for Vincero) shaped Bugatti grill, gold door handles, mirror housings, fuel cap, headlight washer nozzles, headlight trimmings and the roof. Imagine the amount of gold plating or gilding that this already over US$1,000,0000 car has.

The worrying thing is that while this Linea Vincero d'Oro is currently the only demonstrator unit around there will be bound to be some tasteless person somewhere in the world that will end up converting his or her Veyron into a d'Oro. Such a conversion may never happen to any Veyron here in this region, but we know that close by, in the United Arab Emirates or some other middle eastern country, a place where people have too much money we may have a happy camper that will want to make his Veyron into one.

Sometimes I am glad I don't live in Abu Dahbi, Dubai or Bahrain as I get to avoid all those over the top 'Mansoryness'.
