VIP Car styling turns one car brand into another

At first I thought things were bad in Malaysia where I always seem to see Protons becoming Mitsubishi Evos, Protons becoming Subaru Imprezas and NISMO badged everything that isnít actually a Nissan. But I think Thailand beats all of this in terms of execution. Take a look at the picture above before clicking to read the rest of the article and tell me how neat the mods are done to this car and guess what car this is before doing so.

Itís a Honda Civic. A Honda Civic from the land of Tomyam with a Toyota Crown front end grafted on to it (or at least the grill and the lights). It also sports a rear that must have come from a Lexus IS250. Take a good look at those rear lights.

With the really thick side skirts, very large rims and extremely lowered ride height coupled to those very VIP look Junction Produce badging, it is very much the VIP Toyota it the owner wants it to be. Or was it the VIP Honda it wants to be? I wonder how road legal this car is even in Thailand. Imagine the traffic police issuing a speeding ticket for this. What would the the office write in the 'vehicle make' section?

Anyway, lots of money, love and sweat have gone into this. Need I say more?
