Misha Designs widebody kit for the Mercedes SL

Ever heard of Misha Designs? Well I sure havenít but after doing some research Misha Designs are a tuning house based in the state of California, U. S of A and they specialize in body kitted Mercedes, Porsches and BMW. The picture above is of their latest and meanest widebodied Mercedes SL. And it does look pretty good.

The kit supplied basically turns any run of the mill (if an SL were a run of the mill car in the first place) into a slightly more manic looking AMG SL Black lookalike. You can even buy the smallest SL300 and kit it out like the one in the picture above although it may not have the power to back up its looks. The widebody kit consists of a new front bumper with a carbon fiber lip, wider front and rear fender/quarter panels with monster wheel arches, new rear bumper with gills and a carbon diffuser and a small bootlid spoiler.

Misha Design also states that the body kit can even fit the 2003 to 2008 post facelift SL model and it also provides a simple facelift kit if the customer wants to upgrade his pre-facelift model into a widebody post-2009 model.

No news on how much the kit costs or whether there are any other mods aside from the larger wheel and lowering package that you can see on the car. I suppose its just about getting the look right first before anything else. This is an attitude which is very ĎCaliforniaí in terms of car modifications indeed.
