Hyundai will preview their IX-Metro city car concept, the aforementioned Avante and the new Santa Fe. The other highlights could be Proton's preview of the facelifted Proton Saga (which I hope makes the car look less tall and less disproportionate) and some movie vehicles the Chevy Camaro 'Bumblebee' from the Transformer movie and the Batmobile (together with some guy in a Batsuit pretending to be Batman).
I doubt there will be any other surprises as Kuala Lumpur isn't really on the radar for most major manufacturers. It may not be as impressive as the Paris, Los Angeles or the Geneva Motor Show but then again, a motor show is a motor show. One should experience the athmosphere and look at the cars, the motor show girls and more.
The event is open to the general public and tickets will be priced at RM15 for adults on weekdays and RM20 on weekends. Children get in at a flat rate of RM5. There will also be family tickets (2 adults and up to 5 children) at RM30 for a weekday pass and RM40 for a weekend pass.
