The 2012 Mercedes SLK has been unveiled a little early thanks to a leaked French promotional film that made its way to the Internet. The video shows a host of screen shots that illustrates that SLK’s new features.
The compact two-door Benz will be available with the company's neck-warming AirScarf system, adaptive headlights, seven-speed automatic transmission and Magic Sky Control roof that darkens at the touch of a button. The optional AMG package adds a revised front fascia (with LED fog lights), AMG wheels, and cross-drilled brakes. The styling of the new SLK falls in line with the rest of the family.
On the Inside, we can find shades of the SLS with a prominent center console and round air vents. Other goodies include optional Harman Kardon audio system, sunlight reflecting leather seats and COMAND online with internet access.
Judging from the volume of leaked details from the video, look for a possible introduction at January's North American International Auto Show.
