One little bit of news that has caught my eye recently is the fact that Nissan has won its bid to become New York

llmw: yes, sad to hear of that too. But 1950/60s designed fiats would NEED phasing out. Have you ever ridden in any small italian saloon from the 1960s? Its a mostly horrid experience. The only good affordable sedan from the 1960s worth having a go in is the Volvo 122. Things only started getting bearable in the late 1960s when say Fiat came out with the fiat 124. Those were decent small cars to potter around in. BUT not in 2011 mind you.

 

So i suppose in Mumbai's case, a change should be made. Anyway, since they're still producing their version of the morris oxford from the 60s, maybe that should replace the cabs as indian govt officials start phasing them out.

  • Is 'tiny living' really irrelevant in Singapore?

    I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post. But as we know, it isn't an option to begin with – no thanks, of course, to our lack of land space.  Someone also pointed out that the idea of tiny houses is "romanticised" – which, I don't deny (but hey, that's why it's a dream).
