F1 boss, Bernie Ecclestone, has secretly married 35 year-old Brazilian Fabiana Flosi at his £23 million ski resort in Gstaad, Switzerland. They began dating in 2009 following Ecclestone’s divorce with his former wife Slavica, an ex- Armani model . Both of them met through their work on the Brazilian Grand Prix where Miss Flosi was the F1’s vice-president of marketing.
The wedding is the third trip down the aisle for the octogenarian, who vowed to remain single for the rest of his life after being forced to hand over an estimated £1 billion of his £2.4 billion fortune to Slavica following their acrimonious divorce. As the Chinese saying goes - “英雄难过美人关”, I believe Ecclestone’s decision is perfectly understandable especially from a male’s point of view
However, the F1 tycoon’s marriage is met with lukewarm response from both of his daughters, namely the 28 year-old Tamara and the 24 year-old Petra, who were both absent at the wedding. In May this year, Tamara actually said she had no plans to attend her father’s wedding out of loyalty to her mother, Slavica.
Flosi’s former boyfriend, pediatric doctor Fernando Nascimento, said that his girlfriend left him for the F1 billionaire after telling him she had taken a new job in London. They were staying together in Sao Paolo when Flosi meet her future husband. The high-society lifestyle can be complicated some times.
