Japanese performance cars featured in new gaming franchise
By SYF77 on 16 Sep 2012.

From the land that brings us the Transformers cartoon series comes a new Japanese franchise with a similar concept. Called the Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter, the new franchise has licensed several Japanese hot performance vehicles such as the Toyota 86, Mazda RX-8, Nissan GT-R and Mitsubishi Evo.

Created by Square Enix, the company behind the Final Fantasy video game franchise and Dragon Quest Series, Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter was first launched recently as an arcade game with an animated film version set to be released later this year.

Will the new film be able to achieve the same success as the trend setter, Transformers? That reminds to be seen. Transformers has transcend generations and has moved from the TV box to the movie screen. That is an achievement that is hard to beat.

The automobile technology and industry fascinates me and I hope to broadcast these interesting developments to everyone out there through this blog.
