Slightly over two years after it went on sale in May 2010, Peugeot has released the initial details on the 2013 RCZ Coupe. The French automaker will show case the facelift model alongside with the 2008 CUV and Onyx concepts at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The 4.3m refreshed RCZ has a new fascia that sports a smaller grille with a redesigned front bumper that hosts Daylight Running LEDs. The head lamps have been modified as well.
Engine options remain more or less similar to the pre-facelift model. Petrol option includes the 1.6-litre THP with 156bhp and is available with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. A more powerful 1.6-litre THP with 200bhp is mated solely to a 6-speed manual gearbox. A diesel-powered 163bhp 2.0-litre HDi is also on the buying list.
From the images, Peugeot has removed the background on the brand’s logo on the bonnet and the stylish coupe rides on a new set of alloy wheels. Peugeot says that the new RCZ will be offered with the Connect Navigation System that debuted on the 508 model. The integrated info-entertainment system includes a 7-inch navigation screen, Bluetooth support, jack and USB socket as well as a CD/MP3 player.
