Kia has released the official photos of the 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d GT before its world premiere at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The GT is the high performance version of the Pro_cee’d hatchback.
From the photos, the Pro_cee’d GT sports a more aggressive front fascia with larger air intake that houses four individual LED units. The honeycomb grille sports a tasteful “GT” logo while retaining the brand’s signature “Tiger Nose” design.
The red trimming at the bottom of the bumper completes the front update. The Pro_cee’d GT has a blackened roof as well.
The GT model wears exclusive 18-inch alloys and benefit from a lower, stiffer suspension. The car also gets red brake calipers. Photos of the interior are not available at the moment but it is said to get Recaro sport seats and aluminum pedals.
The Pro_cee’d GT is powered by a 1.6-litre engine that delivers about 200bhp and 265Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and it sends the Korean hot hatch from 0 100km/h in 7.9 seconds.
If you are drooling over the Pro_cee’d GT, you might be disappointed to learn that the model is only reserved for the European market.
