Phluvcat 6th Gear July 22, 2012 Author Share July 22, 2012 Chiong 1. Use to have them. In e end got original rims. Can really feel e difference much lighter to move the car? because that day cannot balance the wheel when I went for tyre change, so on the spot decided to go for rim change as well, asked uncle Frankie for cheap ones. never do homework. but not really bothered whether genuine or replica as long as decent and safe, and looks beng for my beng car. another thread indicated not easy to tell the difference unless weigh them??? With trade in stock rims?? soh bros...no trade in, suspect my old rim(s) dented. i actually whacked over wooden blocks at high speeds a couple of times liao, no time to avoid, nabeh the roads nowadays becoming more like back alley in terms of cleanliness. u think for replicas SSR the price is ok? actually until now I not sure is "replica" a brand or it actually means replicate. hahaha...blur me

Maldini03 1st Gear August 3, 2012 Share August 3, 2012 To differentiate the real and replica SSR, you have to look for the Made in Japan" wording. Fake one normally indicate Japan Design or Design in Japan. Safe or not? of course not safe, you dun know when it is going to give way. ↡ Advertisement
