Vin Diesel and Paloma Jimenez have welcomed their third child together into the world, and the longtime couple decided to name the baby girl Pauline in memory of Diesel's friend and Fast and Furious costar, Paul Walker, who tragically died in November of 2013.

"It felt like a way... to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world," Diesel told The Today Show's Natalie Morales in a helicopter high above Los Angeles. The interview was part of the inevitable marketing blitz ahead of the release of the latest film in the franchise, Furious 7. Walker had filmed about 85 percent of his scenes for the movie, according to Today.

It's clear that Diesel and Walker had an extremely close friendship that extended far beyond the success of their Hollywood success. "He was in the room," Diesel told Morales in the interview. "There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just... knew he was there."
