https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7WfeV01A4g A train was blown off of a bridge during an intense storm in New Orleans,LA, Monday. Harrowing footage of the incident was captured on video.

The sky appears black in the dashboard camera footage shot by WGNtv reporter Jabari Thomas, but it's actually 10:30am in the morning. Thomas had just passed under the Huey P. Long bridge and was turning into a fast food restaurant to seek shelter from the storm. He parked his truck just in time to catch 11 train cars derail and tumble to the road below.

Amazingly, no one was hurt. The derailed train cars also did not contain any hazardous materials. Union Pacific Railroad is currently investigating the damage done to the railcars, the station reported.

  • It's okay, you're just feeling ambivalent

    I almost always struggle to describe my state of mind when asked to consider how I'm feeling. How do you express emotions that exist together but work in opposition to each other? When invited to join a gathering with friends, I delight over the prospect of catching up but also yearn to be lounging at home. I'm inspired by an accomplished co-worker yet envy her.
