If you’ve ever gone to a car meet or seen anyone with who has a serious Japanese build, then you would have probably come across a car with some stunning Work Wheels. Unfortunately, According the founder and CEO of Work Wheels, Takeshi Tanaka has passed away according to artofgears.com. The exact cause of his death or the details are unknown.
For those who have not heard of Work wheels, they are regarded as the one of the leading producer of one, two and three piece forged wheels for aftermarket wheel choices, Tanaka built the company on the popularity of a few key wheel choices. Still produced today in 14-inch and 15-inch variants, the Work Equip 01 and Work Equip 03 are regarded as classic designs that have withstood the test of time and are popular choices for build period-correct vehicles. Build period-correct means, customising the car with wheels that correspond to the vehicle's age. Other notable designs include the Work Meister (supposedly Tanaka’s personal favorite), the VSXX and the Work Emotion line of wheels.
