Earlier this week, it was reported on sgcarmart.com that the all new Elantra will be revealed soon and Hyundai even showed us a teaser of the car.

Called the Avante AD in its home market, shots of the Korean Domestic Market (KDM) model has surfaced on some Korean websites before the official reveal of the car.

Judging from the photos, the new generation of the Elantra borrows plenty of styling cues from the Genesis luxury sedan on both the outside and the inside.

The compact sedan is said to ride on an improved platform with a re-tuned suspension. Powertrains options are still unknown at this moment but there are rumors of it using either a 1.6-litre or a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine which will be paired up with a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox.
