McLaren will loan you another engine for your F1 if needed
As a McLaren F1 owner, you can be assured that you and your car is well taken care of.
According to reports online, one of the cooler perks of owning a McLaren F1 is that the British supercar brand will be more than happy to lend you a spare engine if your car needs one.
As one of the most sought after supercars in the world, the F1 is one of McLaren's true icon and owners will be glad that McLaren will not let owners be stranded without an engine if their unit happens to be in the factory undergoing an overhaul or routine servicing.
Back in the 90s, the F1 was the fastest road-legal production car and is capable of doing more than 380km/h. The 627bhp BMW 6.1-litre V12 engine allowed the car to do the 0-200km/h sprint in under 10 seconds.
With around 106 units ever produced, a used F1 will easily cost more than S$13 million now.
