blogentry-133713-0-73571100-1511345426_thumb.jpgElon Musk has taken to Twitter again to stun the world with surprises. In a Tweet published on a few days ago, he hinted that the roadster might be able to "fly".

As part of a special upgrade package for the new Tesla Roadster, the company could make use of rocket technology and possibly allow the car to fly short distances.

Musk has been quoted saying that it is “certainly possible” to make the Roadster part fly. It is “just a question of safety. Rocket technology applied to a car opens up revolutionary possibilities,” he added.

What do you think? Is he high on drugs or is his ambitions a realistic goal?

FYI, the new Tesla Roadster has three electric motors, a 200kWh battery pack and is capable of accelerating to nearly 100km/h from zero in just 1.9 seconds and will sprint to over 402km/h.
