blogentry-133713-0-00456300-1512276011_thumb.jpgRumors of an entry-level Mercedes-AMG A-Class have surfaced and AMG CEO Tobias Moers has been quoted saying that it will be wearing the A35 badge.

Positioned below the A45, the A35 will be rivaling against the Audi S3 Sportback and BMW M140i. Obviously, the car will be priced lower than the S$245,000 Mercedes-AMG is now charging for the A45.

The car is set to receive a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and will have an estimated output of 340bhp. Meanwhile, the range-topping A45 will get in excess of 400bhp.

While other details remain unknown, it is safe to assume the A35 will be all-wheel driven.
