Want to keep your classic car looking period correct but still want to have some modern functionality? Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) can help.
Newly-launched, the Classic Infotainment System comes in a few variants. If you have a Jaguar XJ40, XJS or a XJ Series 3 sedan, you can get the system in chrome or black finish faceplate and is designed to fit in the DIN-1 compartment.
Land Rover owners like the Defender 90, Defender 110, Defender 130, Range Rover Classic (1993-1996), Discovery 1 (1994-1998) and Freelander 1 (1997-2004) are also able to use the system and can choose between a black or silver brushed aluminum faceplate.
In fact, other makes and models might also be able to use the system with some custom work done.
Said to provide “premium sound quality”, the head unit has a 4×45-watt output and has a customisable satellite navigation system that projects maps in either 2D or 3D on the 3.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen.
It also comes with Bluetooth, an incorporated microphone and DAB/DAB+ digital radio capabilities.
