Ringworm cum eczema

Hi. Anyone can help? I have both eczema and ringworm and apparently even the GPs cannot agree which is which. I have taken a month dose of fluconazole with no effect. Daktarin cream with little effect. I am thinking of using silver colloid powder as a last resort short of seeing a skin specialist.

Has anyone used silver colloid powder before? How effective is it?

Bro Little Prince is right, You need to see a skin specialist since no GP can cure it, or agreed on it.

Get your GP to write a ref letter and then make an appointment to go National Skin Centre for an effective treatment.

I have facial eczema, and recently had shingles attack. Went to GP and referred to Dr Ang Chia Chun

Go see a specialist, especially for skin related the GP will not be helpful.

Go see a dermatologist lor.

Silver doesn't do anything for both conditions.

It can be hard to tell both conditions apart sometimes. The dermatologist will probably do a skin scrape to see if got fungal spores or not.

it could be your internal digestion or blood conditions.

Can try to apply Virgin coconut oil. Try 3 days if affected spot better then continue using.

If affected spot become worst then stop using.

Mustaffa is selling a 300ml glass bottle for $15(I'm using).

I have eczema for many years, a good coconut oil can lessen the itch but most find out the cause.

Mine I think is the food I take.

Take note elomet is a long term medication is the rash will return 2 to 3 weeks after you stop the medication. The best is still to find out the root cause.

For me I stopped elomet long time ago due to the constant needed to resupply. But for me not so bad cos my rash is not as serious as the first time and no itchy so I just leave it since its at an area not exposed.

Bbasically they use a needle to puncture the eczamatous area. That is the "punch". The skin trapped within the needle is sent for biopsy.

Chronic dermatitis. Long term. Sian.

Re-examine your daily diet.....

a bad diet is the main factor to allergies, including eczema.

cut down on yeast, sugar, fungi (mushrooms, black fungus etc), processed food and drinks, uncooked eggs, flour, bread. Go for free range kampong chickens, beef, whole grain, lot of good veges (spinach, kai lan, broccoli, etc)

its your blood that is contaminated with bad bacteria, yeast, fungus, is acidic that contributes to yr outbreak.

i kid you not.... someone close to me have bad eczema on face and its only after a controlled diet, managed to clear it. Western med is useless

my wife had a rather serious case of fungal infection /eczema ... tried lots of things ... bio resonance healing ($$$$$) then used sulfur to wash the infected areas, chinese herbs ...

but in the end went to a GP in bedok and he gave her some pretty expensive cream ... $75 for about about -150gm of Restoderm or something ... and the cream worked wonders !! in about 1 week, the rashes had almost healed,

** initially the doc gave her oral meds but switched to cream when she got pregnant.
