So here I am in NYC. And the NY International Auto Show is 15 mins away!

What do you think is a must see/must do?

Great city or should I say the best city to be in!

Die die must go

1) The Met

2) Central Park

3) Broadway (watch the musicals ... I recommend Book of Mormon if it's still showing)

4) Canal St if you crave chinese food

Not much of a sight seeing person but you can visit Statue of Liberty. Best is just sit at a cafe, sip some tea or coffee and watch the day go by.

Thanks for the sightseeing tips!

Was actually thinking of visiting the Auto show too. Has anyone been keeping track of announcements? What are releases/concept cars that are a must-see?

I quite like the 2014 Chevy Vette Z06. Awesome looking car!

Great tips, thanks again!
1) The Met - not a big sports fan, will visit if I have time
2) Central Park - definitely!
3) Broadway (watch the musicals ... I recommend Book of Mormon if it's still showing) - I would join the line at TKTS and see if there are discount tickets for any show
4) Canal St if you crave chinese food - steaks and burgers first 8)

To be honest other than Detroit, the American shows mostly nothing much. Still worth a look though. I expect it won't be as big as the European shows, so could be a good way to spend an afternoon maybe.

As far as I know, expected new cars at New York Auto Show this year include:

- Facelifted Toyota Camry

- Land Rover Discovery Concept (looks quite cool from pictures)

- Subaru Outback (possible new Legacy)

- BMW X4

- Facelifted VW Jetta (although not the same one we get here)

- Nissan Murano

- BMW M4 Convertible

- Facelifted Chevrolet Cruze

- New Hyundai Sonata

- Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe

And of course, the usual American stuff like Mustangs, Corvettes, etc.

Yeah, this show is exciting to watch but it can't beat broadway show new york city.

Yes Broadway's great!

If you want the best deals, queue at the TKTS ticket outlet right in the middle of Broadway for same-day performances at a large discount.

Yes. Fantastic!

I would say this is the Must-See musical on Broadway right now.

Pity the original lead Andrew Rannells moved on to bigger things. But it's still good nonetheless.
