Must salute the naval divers.

I have a fren who was super fit in sec school and got gold for his napfa test.

Selected for the ndu course but failed cos during one of the training he collapsed and suffered fits. He has never had this before and it was not even the hell week.

After that we both agreed that being fit and strong doesn't mean you will pass the course.

Thankfully he remained in the navy and got downgraded. But he still commands a certain respect in his team cos he when through it, even though he failed. Considered ex ndu trainee.

Total respect for our fellow Singaporeans who really turn from Boys to Men in the Combat Diver Course !!

It's one of the most Siong course, and I have nothing but utmost respect and admiration for these men !

Body aside, their mental strength in surviving thru the hell week ... Wow !

We need these men to defend our Country when the time comes :)

If you go more into their missions, both sof and NDU pretty much do the same thing as during a real mission, anything can happen and they may have to transit to different terrain. So they have to be able to be versatile at all terrains.

then guards do what ah?

2nd class commandos?

Tia gong sof/commandos is do stealth mission like extraction and steal info, and guards is head on de.

There shd be a few divers here in the forum.

All that's reported are only at max, 70%, of what it used to be.[/

Our forum have all kind of masters around.

Maybe less than 70%... Let see any current divers around to make any comment.

True... Every individual also has a part to play... Be it a storeman, drivers...
