Arcade has many money changers giving reasonable rates. That said give it a few days as normally they have old stock bought at higher prices so they won't react to the lower rates so quickly.

If you need to do remittances, some MCs like Raffles MC also do this and for remittances, you may be able to get the latest rates earlier. Banks have a higher fee to do remittances compared to MCs.

check mustafa forex for latest prices for AUD.

Although SGD:AUD trading rate is 1:1 between banks, but when you want to change money, you still need to pay slightly more.

Today mustafa is SGD 1.010 for AUD 1

The interest rate in AUD is higher.. maybe worth looking at swapping it on a weekly basis..

Most forex experts seem to be betting it ti go slightly lower. Can hold for a while n go in to accumulated.

You sure save a lot if you go there for free and easy with your family.

Last year rate was about 1.2:1. Now you est. save about $200 with every $1000 you spent.Imagine a family of four how much will you spend?

it's not the lowest..

looong time ago, was it 1997/8 or something, i ever changed a few tens for S$0.89.

those interested can wait and aim for this level, since commodities aren't going to do well in the near term.

Can continue to monitor. AUD is usually quite resilient n will bounce back. After the lehman bros crisis, managed to accumulated at 1.01. Sold it at 1.20++. Hehe.... Edited by Soya
